Deck Construction: A new elevated structure anchoring the backyard living experience.
Curb Appeal: The front was reshaped to welcome with impact.
Outdoor Kitchen:
Set on a lower tier, making use of vertical space.
Featuring custom concrete countertops.
Highlighted with brickwork accents beneath the kitchen structure.
CorTen Steel Planter Boxes:
Installed in front and on the side of the property
A rare and refined detail that gave the space architectural definition and a sculptural feel.
New materials were introduced to push the design beyond the typical regional aesthetic.
The Hurdles
Even the most beautiful projects come with their battles and this one came courtesy of the township.
“The biggest challenges we had was with the township and municipality on impervious coverage.”
The site had strict limitations on how much hardscape could be added. This required Chris’s team to engineer creative, compliance-forward solutions that still fulfilled the homeowner’s expansive vision.
“We needed to really capitalize off of how we used that space to their advantage.”
The Reveal
What was once a blank plot of land is now a fully realized outdoor retreat, one that feels balanced, bold, and bespoke.
The combination of metal, stone, and earth blends seamlessly into the property’s natural surroundings while offering clear, purposeful structure.
